To be accepted as an accredited member of Higher Accreditation Association for Online Schools (HAAOS) a university must meet the following standards.
The university must be legally registered within the country it is situated. It must offer a full distance learning degree program without any resident requirement.

The university must have a non-discrimination policy on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status.

The university will have to provide a confidentiality policy about the security of the student's academic and personal record and not release any information without the prior approval of the student. The university will not graduate any student who fails to meet the academic requirements as set by that institution.

It would be the responsibility of the university to inform Higher Accreditation Association for Online Schools (HAAOS) about any material change in the operation of their college that might cause concern to the Commission.

A university may only be considered for accredited membership when nominated by a member of Higher Accreditation Association for Online Schools (HAAOS).

A member may quit any time by tendering a resignation either in writing or by e-mail.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
The accreditation process at Higher Accreditation Association for Online Schools (HAAOS) can be broadly broken into the following steps:

STEP I – Online Membership
The first step towards becoming a member is to request an online membership evaluation form by sending your request to memberinfo@higheraccreditation.org

STEP II– Pre-Accreditation Evaluation
Your submitted application will be reviewed by our Committee and if considered you will be contacted to send further details which will also be analyzed strictly regarding the eligibility issues of the Association. After the evaluation phase you will be contacted to let you know about the fees, policies and regulations that you will have to abide by. Once you agree to it, the next phase of evaluation commences.

STEP III- Self Evaluation Phase & Accreditation
Your institution will have to go through a series of self evaluation tests and strategic planning skills development phases through which the institution’s quality will be gauged and checked. After we spend a considerable amount of time and thought on an individual institution, it joins the Higher Accreditation Association for Online Schools (HAAOS) as a prestigious accredited member.
